ISS UK & Ireland names new CFO

ISS UK & IRELAND has promoted the head of treasury at ISS Group Denmark as its next chief financial officer.

Before joining ISS UK, Barbara Plucnar Jensen was head of group treasury and risk management at facilities management business ISS Group in Denmark.

Since 2009 Jensen has worked with ISS Group in a variety of finance and treasury roles. Prior to this she held a number of finance positions in the sector, including at Danske Bank where she worked for over 10 years in treasury, risk management and advisory.

The facilities company said Jensen had strengthened the financial profile of ISS Group Treasury activities. In Denmark, Jensen was part of the finance group management team and board member of a number of ISS Group companies.

She helped listed ISS on NASDAQ in 2014 and contributed to strategic roll out of the ISS Group strategy.

Matthew Brabin, CEO ISS UK & Ireland, who was also recently appointed, said Jensen “brings strong credentials and of course a deep understanding of the ISS ethos, joining our business at a time of continued transformational change for us and the wider environment.”

Jensen said: “I look forward to helping to develop a stronger business which will continue to provide a robust organisation which is flexible enough to manoeuvre in an environment of increasing diversity and change.”
