St James’s Place, the UK’s leading wealth management firm, has had a shake-up of its executive team, seeing Chief Executive Officer David Bellamy step down after 26 years.
Chief Financial Officer of the firm for 12 years, Andrew Croft, will step into his place from the beginning of 2018 and has been described as “the ideal person to lead St. James’s Place.”
Craig Gentle, who joined the group in 2016 as Chief Risk Officer, will be appointed as Chief Financial Officer.
David will continue to lead the business for the remainder of the year and will remain with the Group in an advisory capacity, taking on the role of non-executive Chairman of the firm’s new international operations.
Chair, Sarah Bates, said: “Management changes we have announced reflect the continued development of the executive team as well as our commitment to the strategy which has been so successful over the years.”
