Hudson to regenerate into St Modwen FD role

The 41-year-old British Land group financial controller will join the company by October 2015

ROBERT HUDSON will be the new group finance director at St. Modwen Properties, the UK’s regeneration specialist.

The 41 year-old, who will join the company by October 2015, moves from British Land, where he has been group financial controller since October 2011. A chartered accountant, Rob began his career with PwC before moving to Experian in 2000 where he held a number of senior financial roles, including global finance director of its decision analytics business and UK finance director.

As announced on 22 December 2014, Mike Dunn, St. Modwen’s current group finance director, will step down from the board on 31 May 2015. Andy Taylor, who joined the company in July 2007 as group financial controller, will become acting group finance director until Rob’s appointment becomes effective.

Commenting on the appointment, Bill Oliver, chief executive of St. Modwen, said: “Rob’s wide-ranging financial skills and experience combined with his property sector knowledge will make him an excellent addition to the company.”
