Alliance Pharma FD to step down

ALLIANCE PHARMA, the AIM listed speciality pharmaceutical business, has said that finance director Richard Wright is to leave the company after nearly eight years in the role.

Wright leaving the company to pursue other opportunities and will remain in his role until 31 May 2015. A search for a new finance director is already underway, the company said.

He qualified as an accountant with Ernst & Young before joining Somerfield and has held senior finance positions at FirstGroup and Parragon Publishing.

Wright’s departure came as the business said its profits for 2014 should be in line with expectations.

John Dawson, Alliance Pharma’s chief executive, commented: “I have enjoyed working with Richard and warmly thank him for the very significant contribution he has made to Alliance’s development over these past several years. On behalf of the entire Board I wish him well with his future endeavours.”
