Prudential finance director James joins Admiral board

ADMIRAL has appointed Prudential’s finance director Penny James as a non-executive director, Post reports.

In a filing on the London Stock Exchange the UK motor specialist said it had received regulatory approval for the appointment, which is effective from 1 January 2015.

James has held her current role as director of group finance at Prudential since March 2011.

Prior to that she was chief finance officer for Omega Insurance and UK general insurance CFO at Zurich Financial Services.

Admiral group chairman Alastair Lyons, pictured, said he was “delighted to have someone of Penny’s technical capability and broad experience joining the board, thereby ensuring continuity ahead of future retirements of directors at the end of their nine year term.”
