Corac COO renews CFO responsibilities

Mark Crawford to increase COO role with CFO responsibilities, following Jon Carter's departure from Corac

THE CFO of gas and energy technologies business Corac is stepping down from the role, with the previous incumbent coming back.

Jon Carter has left the business with immediate effect “to pursue new career options”, with Mark Crawford returning to the role he held for four years until 2013. Crawford will also continue as the group’s COO.

Non-executive Rohan Courtney also steps down, and will be replaced by Andrew McCree from October.

Richard King, chairman of Corac Group, said: “The board would like to express its thanks to Jon and Rohan for their valuable contributions during their time with the group and wish them well for the future. We are delighted to welcome Andrew to the team and look forward to benefiting from his experience in the next, exciting phase of Corac’s growth.”

Last month the business released an interim trading update where it said it remained focused on delivering growth and reducing losses, retaining a “robust” financial position and order book.
