Shonaid Jemmett-Page adds another non-exec board role to extensive portfolio

LONDON-LISTED specialist insurance group Amlin has appointed Shonaid Jemmett-Page as an independent non-executive director.

Jemmett-Page, a former chief operating officer for CDC Group, the UK government’s development finance institution, joins Amlin on 1 September.

Prior to an eight-year stint at Uniliver, Jemmett-Page spent her early career at KPMG, latterly as an audit partner specialising in financial institutions including insurance.

She is a non-executive director of GKN; a non-executive director of APR Energy; and a non-executive director of Close Brothers Group. She is also chairwoman of the sustainability committee for the ICAEW and the auditor of an Indian children’s cancer charity based in Mumbai.

Richard Davey, chairman of Amlin, said: “Shonaid brings a wealth of international finance and commercial experience, and we look forward to her contribution to our board.”
