New FD blogger: the Hundred Group's Luke Savage

Luke Savage, director of finance at Lloyd’s of London and a member of the Hundred Group, has joined Financial Director’s team of bloggers

Financial Director has gained access to the inner workings of the Hundred Group, the secretive, powerful lobby for FDs and CFOs of the UK’s biggest businesses.

Luke Savage, a member of the Markets and Investor Relations Committee (M&IR) of the Hundred Group and director of finance of Lloyd’s of London, has joined Financial Director‘s team of bloggers.

Savage will provide commentary on emerging issues in corporate and market regulation based on the M&IR committee’s quarterly meetings.

The blog gives readers of Financial Director the opportunity to hear what the Hundred Group thinks about proposals coming from the raft of different bodies engaged revamping various aspects of corporate governance, reporting and disclosure – straight from the horse’s mouth.

It also provides the opportunity for mid-market FDs to engage with the work of the Hundred Group and comment on the organisation’s responses and proposals. Comments made on financialdirector.co.uk will be fed back to Savage and the Hundred Group.

The first blog will appear on our website on 15 May.
