BOC gets new finance chief
Inchcape FD appointed at gas group
Alan Ferguson, currently finance director at FTSE250 car dealership Inchcape, is to take the top finance job at BOC, the industrial gases group.
Ferguson should move to FTSE100 listed BOC in September. ‘I have enormous respect for the Inchcape management team and the inherent quality of its businesses,’ he said.
‘It is a company with considerable potential. After 22 fulfilling years including six on the Board, it will be a wrench to move on. However the role of Finance Director at a company such as BOC represents a rare career opportunity, and one that I am greatly looking forward to taking up.’
