The latest member, Keith Ward, finance director of the City and Guilds of London Institute, was referred to the CFDG by word of mouth.
‘I have worked exclusively in the commercial sector until now and realize that there are significant differences. The scope and remit of the finance function within a charity can be much broader and it will be useful to be part of a forum where I can exchange experiences and information with peers,’ he said.
‘CFDG’s success shows how much sector professionals appreciate help in keeping track of their complicated charity finances and reporting,’ said Paul Breckell, chairman of the CFDG board of Trustees and finance director of the Church Mission Society.
