This month’s cartoon comes from an excellent book that we’ve just come across called Running Board Meetings: Tips and techniques for getting the best from them. Written by Patrick Dunne of venture capitalists 3i, it’s as useful as it is amusing. FDs who also fill the company secretary role will find it particularly helpful, though anyone who’s tried to keep the attention of the board while delivering the monthly figures will get something out of it, too.
