One favourite phrase was “square-headed girlfriend” – Silicon Valley slang for your computer.
We thought it was a joke. Then someone pointed out an article in American movers-and-shakers magazine, Forbes. It quotes Isaac Gaon, chief exec of a company called Glasgal Communications Inc, who says: “My computer is as important to me as my wife right now. I would find it difficult to live without it for a day. I think I’d get withdrawal symptoms.”
But can it cook?
