Royal Dutch Shell CFO joins line up at the CFO Agenda

FINANCIAL DIRECTOR is delighted to announce that Simon Henry, chief financial officer of Royal Dutch Shell, has joined the line up at the CFO Agenda on June 28.

Henry has been CFO of the FTSE 100 oil giant since 2008, having previously served as CFO for exploration and production from 2004 to 2009, and was head of group investor relations from 2001 to 2004.

He will discuss Shell’s approach to corporate taxation and tax transparency as part of a panel looking at international efforts to clamp down on aggressive tax avoidance by large multinational businesses.

Other panelists include Meg Hillier, MP and chair of the influential Public Accounts Committee, Jolyon Maugham QC, and Stephen Herring, head of taxation at the Institute of Directors.

The CFO Agenda is a day-long event for senior finance leaders, and has been designed to inspire those to tackle new and emerging risks, stay ahead of economic challenges, build strategies and maximise opportunities from the thoughts on key business leaders and policymakers.
