Shareholders split on vote[QQ] Voters who are also shareholders are evenly split on whether to vote Tory or Labour, according to analysis by MORI expert Dr Roger Mortimer.
His analysis of a poll of 13,649 individuals for The Times reveals that 40% of shareholder voters would cast their ballots for Labour, exactly the same as the proportion who back the Conservatives. Amongst non-shareholders, the split is 27% Tory, 54% Labour.

Regulatory monopoly ends
The Regulatory News Service is to face competition under new proposals from the FSA on the dissemination of company information. Under the new system, listed companies will be able to publish all their regulatory announcements through a range of information providers. Opening up the market for competition could save listed companies #5.6m a year.
