EMI has lost FD Simon Duffy to Internet company World Online. He becomes chief executive and deputy chairman at the company, which is planning to float. Duffy was EMI FD for seven years. Tony Bates steps into the vacant spot, moving from the position of chief financial officer at EMI Music.
