Appointment at Silver Shield.
Silver Shield, the windscreen repair and replacement specialist, has appointed Richard Abolins to the role of finance director.
Abolins moves in to replace the previous FD, Chris Evans, who left the company in January 1996. Abolins is a chartered accountant and has worked for various insurance and consumer service companies, most recently for Ebley Tyre Services where he was company accountant. His role as FD will see him involved in implementing IT solutions.
