Joe Forehand, who has been a partner for 17 years, succeeds George Shaheen who left last month to join the online grocer Webvan.Forehand led Consulting’s $2bn (£1.25bn) global communications and high-tech market unit, which accounted for around a quarter of the firm’s overall revenues. This is a pivotal time in the history of Andersen Consulting, and I am pleased and privileged to be a part of it, he said. In the weeks to come, I want to focus on taking Andersen Consulting to its next level of marketplace leadership. This includes developing a bold, new growth strategy, creating an environment that fosters an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit, and strengthening our commitment to our clients and our people.
