Fields Wicker-Miurin, director of finance and strategy at the London Stock Exchange, has resigned after three-and-a-half years in the post.

Wicker-Miurin, who joined the exchange from Mercer Management Consulting, will leave her post at the beginning of December. Gavin Casey, chief executive of the exchange, said: “During the last three years Fields has made a significant contribution to the development of the exchange and the reshaping of our finances and strategy. We wish her every success for the future.” Last year Wicker-Miurin had a salary package of #282,248. There are no plans for a successor to fill Wicker-Miurin’s position since her remit of putting the exchange on a firmer financial footing and defining the group’s strategy is said to have been achieved. The finance role will now be assumed by company secretary Keith Robinson.
