On the move - The New Millennium Experience

The New Millennium Experience, a government-owned firm responsible for the construction and operation of the exhibition to be held in the Greenwich Dome for the year 2000 celebrations, has appointed Steve Brown as director of finance and corporate services. Brown joins from leisure group Center Parcs, where he has been deputy managing director and finance director for the last ten years. He was previously with the Thomas Cook group and Ernst & Young.

Brown will have responsibility for financial management, human resources, legal affairs and information technology within the company. His main remit will be to ensure the Millennium Experience delivers long term benefits. He already has experience in public/private partnerships, being the chairman of the East Midlands Development Company and a former member of the CBI’s President’s Committee.
