Advisory board named for the 2011 Financial Director Summit

Financial Director has created an advisory board of leading FDs to help shape the agenda of the 2011 Financial Director Summit, to be held on 16 June.

Joining the board will be Narin Ganesh, regional finance director UK, Ireland & Scandinavia of Crown Worldwide Group; Arif Kamal, group finance director of GL Hearn; and Neil Morling, CFO of EC Harris.

Ganesh, who has held previous finance roles at Alpha Airports Group and Neal’s Yard Remedies, found himself in the spotlight after appearing on the popular Channel 4 programme Undercover Boss.

Kamal joined GL Hearn in 1997. In June 2003 he was invited to join the main board of GL Hearn as the group finance director. Kamal’s role has progressed to a more strategic one, working closely with the group managing director and he also played a very active role in the introduction and establishment of the web-based GL Hearn flexi-benefits scheme and review and monitoring of the group personal pension plans.

Morling, who joined EC Harris in 2007, has previously held FD positions at Ricardo UK, Prismo Group and APV Europe.
