Theresa May is facing mounting pressure to announce her plans to resign to win the support of Tory Brexiters, who believe that a change in Number 10 would signal a more robust approach to talks on a future UK/EU trade deal.

It comes as the Prime Minister is preparing for a huge week in Westminster, with the withdrawal agreement she struck with Brussels set to go before parliament yet again.

If the House of Commons rejects the renegotiated deal on Tuesday, the PM has said she will then give MPs another vote on whether to press ahead with a no-deal Brexit on Wednesday.

The ongoing turmoil is continuing to hamper the ability of companies to plan for the future.

Today Wayne Close, MD of BUPA Healthcare Services, makes the point in an interview with FD that the large degree of uncertainty- especially the soft issues he describes- has limited efforts to put in place a new business plan.
