Prime Minister Theresa May will address Conservative MPs today, possibly to announce a resignation date in a last throw of the dice to win support for her twice-rejected Brexit deal in parliament.

Meanwhile MPs have set out details of their plan to consider other Brexit options, on which voting will begin today, in a process likely to continue into next week.

Copyright laws which critics say could change the internet have been voted in by the European Parliament. The new rules, including the controversial Article 13, will hold tech firms responsible for material posted without copyright permission.
