Stilwell appointed EY managing partner for talent

Long-serving partner Maggie Stilwell takes talent role at EY

MAGGIE STILWELL has been named EY’s new managing partner for talent, having served as a partner in the fraud and dispute services since 1996.

Stilwell qualified as a chartered accountant in 1994 and joined EY 18 months later. A flexible worker herself – across four days a week – she is looking to carry on the firm’s drive to modernise its workplace.

“Over the last three years we’ve introduced flexible working, encouraging our people at every level of the organisation to decide how, when and where they work to suit their clients, their teams, the business and themselves,” said Stilwell.

“Our people are at the heart of our organisation, they make our firm tick. EY is all about recruiting and retaining the brightest and best talent from all walks of life and creating a working environment in which they can thrive.”

“A poshness test is not going to work with the number of people we need to bring into our organisation, Altobello told Accountancy Age.
