Vodafone CFO gets call to chair The Hundred Group
Andy Halford will succeed Ashley Almanza as chairman of The Hundred Group
The Hundred Group, the organisation representing the views of the finance directors of Britain’s largest companies, has appointed Andy Halford, CFO of Vodafone, as chairman.
Halford will succeed Ashley Almanza, the current Hundred Group chairman and CFO at the global energy company BG Group.
Ashley Almanza will assume the role of vice-chairman of The Hundred Group and from March 2011 will also chair the group’s tax committee, succeeding Julian Heslop, CFO of GSK.
Prior to joining Vodafone, Halford was group finance director at East Midlands Electricity.
