Three former Ernst & Young employees join accountancy software business
Digita, supporting its client services team.
The three recruits will focus on day-to-day support for clients
implementation planning and consultancy at Digita, which caters to both
accountants in business and practice.
Jerry Rihll, managing director of Digita, said: “Accountants like dealing
with fellow qualified professional and the work of the client services team sets
the standard by which our customers judge us.
“Our aim is to employ the highest calibre of staff who through working within
the industry really understand the issues affecting accountants.”
Digita is strengthening its client services team in preparation of the
switchover to iXBRL in April 2011. iXBRL is a computer tagging language in which
all corporation tax returns must be filed from next year.
The new employees will be based in Exmouth and London.
Digita currently employs 16 support staff, including the new recruits, and 14
specialist software testers, out of a total 100 employees.
